Power windows/locks diagram?
Hey everyone, im having some issues with my 91 F150.
My power door lock doesnt work on the drivers side, I have it narrowed down to the actuator not working. And my passenger side window wont move. That one is either the motor or the regulator.
Does anyone have a diagram of the doors, ro at least a good working knowledge, so i can see how difficult the window and lock replacement is going to be?

I too have a '91 F150 and so I bought the Ford Shop Manuals including the
wiring diagrams. I catch myself making more use of the wiring diagrams on
AutoZone's website because they are easy to print out and it's ok to write
on 'em etc.
You have to "join" or something silly like that then type in "wiring diagrams"
and click on some crazy something and then the most useful of the wiring
diagrams will show up.

Something I want to do to my '91 Bronco I'm fixing up is remove the electric
window mechanism from the driver's side door and go manual on it, like a big
truck. LOL :) ...already removed the locking mechanism on that side. ;)
The rear window wouldn't move but the motor ran so I took the mechanism
apart and replaced the "sacrificial part" that protects the rest of the parts.
They are three plastic plugs that can be had in the "Help!" section. :)
What are your window motor's symptoms? :)

Yeah you would be after you got locked out. LOL :)
The locking mechanism did you a favor, roll with it? ;)

I am not sweating it. I am in Korea for another 3 1/2 months and the wifey is dealing with it. It is not a primary vehicle, but she loves to drive it.
We have a friend who is an auto shop teacher at the school so his class will be doing the majority of the repairs before I get back. What they dont do I will knock out.

Have you found a replacement actuator? If not, this site has them for real cheap.
