2000 eddie bauer edition. Two years ago I had the bearings in the hub replaced . When I picked it up the guy told me the noise i heard would go away . I lived with it for awhile did put brakes on and it seemed to go away or at least I thought. What Iam hearing is brake sqeaking when you are almost stopped.
What I have done to cure it but it comes back at least once a month is to pull caliper off and clean the bolts/pins and all other mating surfaces.
I tried pin lube seemed to wrk but found antiseize lasting longer. But at least once a month it comes back i do the same thing it goes away.
I have been trying to track possibilities and i am beginning to think it may be getting washed out when i drive thru deep puddles.
What I get is a sqeak sqeak noise almost at complete stop noticable enough some one at the light next to me hears too
Any ideas on what my problem is
Paul
