1992 Bronco IDI?

Could you get a Bronco in an IDI in the late 80's - 90's? Just wondering; I've never seen one around here with one in it.

One of the guys here has one in a Bronco, mid 80's model if I remember right.

I will try to find a picture of it afterwhile.

Here is a link to his user name, 88 Bronco with a 6.9 in it.

Last on 8/20/2009 and I don't see any pictures in his garage or gallery.

Centurion made a four door bronco ( hybrid bronco and four door truck) in 3/4 and 1 ton with a diesel. A guy I knew in Arkansas bought my 89 F350 and put the Diesel in his 86 Bronco. visit Fourdoorbronco.com to see more about these Four Door Broncos.

1992 Bronco IDI?

What I wanted to know is if FOMOCO ever offered a Factory Bronco with an IDI? Guess I should have asked that question a little better.

Ford never had a diesel Bronco off the factory line in North America.

The Centurian F250/F350 Bronco conversion did have a diesel option though.

Well when I say Bronco conversion, basically it was a truck with the rear of the cab cut out and a cab roof level shell on the bed with the front of the bed and shell cut out.

So it was the same size as a regular cab pickup with an 8 foot bed, modified and customized to look like a stretch Bronco.

And I do think I remember a crew cab version conversion as well.

No Ford never offered the Bronco (built on the F150 chassis) with the diesel. So I built what they should have lol. That was me you were thinking of Dave. This is the first day we have had cable or internet since we moved.
