Hey everyone. I was looking for some help. My 05 has been running rough on cold starts for a while now. Its even worse since I switched back to 15w40 motocraft after using rotella t syn 5w40. After It warms up its fine runs like a champ. A couple weeks ago I had a no start and they replaced the ficm and that fixed the problem. Today I was in a drive thru I shut off my truck and it would not start back up. After pushing the truck out of the drive thru and letting it cool down and sit for an hour or so it started up and is running great. I'm afraid to shut it off though. I'm in the Texas panhandle on my way to Kansas City so I'm hoping I can limp it home if I don't shut it off. As for my issues before today I thought I had a bad injector and that was causing my rough starts but now I'm thinking I have HPOP issues. Does anyone have any input or ideas? I appreciate it if you do.. thanks

You may have injector issues created by an HPOP issue, or you may have both. The injectors are, afterall, dependant on the HPOP to fire. See if fixing the HPOP takes care of the other before trying to diagnose "dying" injectors.
