I happened to see a new Ford crew cab at a gas station. As much as I like my '05 X, and as "slick' as I think it is, damn ...those new Ford trucks are NEAT.

Still has a solid front axle, but COIL springs-the guy says it rides MUCH better than his own older EX. Improvements of all kinds, including more powerful V-10.

So I disagree - i dont think the term "nearly identical' is correct. I have never been a FORD guy - always thought they were the worst in terms of build quality compared to the others of the Big Three. My EX sure turned me around...and I like the new ones even MORE !

I'm VERY impressed with the work and the speed in which it was done!

However, that doesn't belie the fact that I think the 09 front end design to be hideous. I'll never like it no matter what comes after it.

The fender vents are cool though! It's just those headlights...yuck.

I KNEW IT... I KNEW IT... IT'S THAT DAMN HAWAIIN PRIMO BEER ! LOOK AT HOW MONSTA'S JUDGEMENT HAS BEEN DESTROYED BY THAT STUFF. IF FORD WAS MAKING EX'S ON THE BEAUTIFUL '09 PLATFORM, I'D BE OFF TO PRESCOTT FORD TO ORDER A NEW ONE THIS VERY MINUTE !

BUT THAT IS BECAUSE I LIVE IN THE HIGH COUNTRY OF NORTHERN ARIZONA...WHERE WE CANT GET ANY OF THAT HAWAIIN BEER.....!
