97 PSD bogs down while backing up
I have a 1997 F-350 7.3 Powerstroke, and I've owned it for about three months. Sometimes when I put the tranny into reverse and push the gas to back up (when I have to), the engine will bog down and almost die. As soon as I let off the pedal though, the idle jumps back up to 600 RPMs which is normal idle. At times just shifting into reverse causes a small drop in RPMs. I don't know if maybe the idle is set too low or what it is. Anyone have an idea?
