Lowered the F100

I have been wanting to do this for awhile now, and finally got my dads truck out of the garage.

Just did the low budget way.
Front: 2 coils and trimmed bumpstop brackets.
Rear: 2" shackle and front hanger flip.

Total drop is about 3" in front and about 4.5-5" in rear. Ill measure tomorrow. Same shocks, rides good for how it is. No, I do not endorse Subway but we had just got done biking. No the oil spill is not from me and yes I know the hubcaps are mismatched. I would love to trade someone for 3 more brushed ones and ditch the polised ones. For how many miles I run this a year, tire wear is not a concern, since the Buell is my daily.

It is more if I am in the mood. There are times I don't, but then sometimes I do. You will notice the front plate can still be read. Not worried about someone finding where I live. Now if I had antique or vintage 71 plates on it then I would not blank it out.

(Yes I know it has 72 inserts, what do you expect for a $25 grille.)

You are going to start eating up tires, looks like excessive negative camber.

Also looks like you will have to get yours ibeams bent to get the front lined up correctlly too. As stated above, you will go through some tires if you dont get it lined up.

I know I have seen aftermarket I beams for lowering. Just wish someone made them for lifting, extended length and lift compensated.

In the industry we call it "reshaping" Looks better on the work order so an ill-informed customer (due to an undertrained parts person or service advisor) doesn't have a fit!

Oh i like the drop by the way Justiz, looks really good

Years ago I cut two links out of my springs on my 67 truck. I wound up shearing the rivets that hold the bottom of the shocks to the chassis. I also noticed that my inner fender was starting to tear near the radiator support from stress. They did not have dropped shocks back then , but I would at least invest in a set if I did it again.
I had to call many tire stores until I could find a shop that could do a true front end alignment. ( bend the I beams) One place wanted to charge me 80 dollars a bend with up to 3 bends per beam. I told them where they could go.The next shop charged me 35 dollars and told me they just bend the beams until the alignment is correct. They also did the cast and camber.

Front: 13" center of wheel to bottom of fender.
Rear: 13.25" center of wheel to bottom of fender.

Once again, I put about 3k miles a year on this. Drive it about 50 miles a week for sure. The 255's are pretty old anyways. Drop shocks and bumpstops will come in time.

Like I got it (height wise)
