My Powertrax automatic locker is rated for tires up to 32 inches. Make sure you know how much tire your locker can handle before you actually buy it and go through the effort of installing it. You have 4x4 so it might not be on your top priority list. Remember, if you lock your rear differential and get a flat on your rear axle, you can only use the same size tires back there or you'll grenade your third member.
you need a new diff carrier to change gears? or just for gears tht big?
For gears that big; On a D44 TTB there's a different carrier for 3.93 up and 3.92 down. And most come stock with 3.55s so you need a new one even for 4.10s.
SO the E303 dont like to play with the combo of SD/EFI motors?
Nope, it doesn't. I think the E303 has an LSA of 110*, or it's a non-straight up grind but still acts like a 110* LSA. Keep LSA @114 or higher for SD; when looking for cams online look for "computer controlled compatible" or similar.
And IMO, even with mass air you'd be taking a smaller compromise. To me, it's not just that it won't work with SD well, it's simply that there are better cams for your combo.
Hey DarkNite, when are you going to take some pictures for us?????
DOH!!!! I have them on the computer at home its just getting them one one of the free hosting sited so I can put up a link...I did put the only one I have on my work computer in the garage or whatever...the blue thing under my Screen name
OK so the parts list is:
FRONT
1. Install kit=$81
2. Gears=$185
3. Diff carrier=$???
Rear
1. Install kit=$81
2. Gears=$175
That look right?
Also on the new Diff Carrier for the front, does it make a difference if Im IFS?
I have a set of 4:10's for your rear end... I didnt know they made 4:11's though. These gears are motive. I wouldnt reccomend anything alse no matter where you buy them at. What is wrong with your old diff cover? or are you going to put one in that supports the carrier. ( Like a built in girdle) Let me know if you are intrested, or where you are located. I have 3/4 mile on these gears... 3 passes at the track. I have never run anything this weak, or high, before, and learned my lesson.

You just need to re-gear your truck and you're good to go. Do you have limited slip?
Im about 1 week away from having the money for my gears! Should be done with the last 2 inches of lift (for a total of 12) just in time to take it and have the gears (front and rear) swapped. Then if I have any time left Im going to work on getting the cam...
