HPX pictures?

Where does the HPX line go on a '95 truck? I can get it to fit on two plugs in between the turbo and the fuel filter housing.

Does it matter which two plugs you use?

You'll have to take the HPO supply line from the pump and move it to #4 and then run your crossover between #5 and #6

Startin at the front 1,3,5,7 are on the right side and 2,4,6,8 are on the left. Your line should crossover just in front of the turbo and behind the intake plenums.

Which brand of HPX are you using, a hard line or steel braided?

Here's some pics of a TYMAR

It's a hard line. My HPO supply line already goes to #4.

So it should be like this, going from #3 to #6:

Yes, it should be like that. BTW that's #4 on the drivers side and #5 on the other side.

Ok. So I don't need to move any existing lines then. Just pull out the plugs and put the line in. Cool! Doing that tomorrow after work, too dark right now.

I just noticed you still have the red intake boot going to the turbo. Have you checked it lately? Most of them were replaced long ago because they didn't last. Take a look at the area where it clamps to the turbo. They usually rot and crack on the bottom and let unfiltered air into the turbo.

Here is a pic of mine:

Just remove the plugs and save them. Then install the HPX.
It is a good idea to take the plugs and replace the o-rings on them then keep them in the glove box in case you have a leak. It will get you home.

I'll check that boot out. Thanks for the help!

I put the hard line on mine and for the #4 I had to use a small pry bar to move the oil line enough to get the fitting threaded in. That was the biggest pain of the whole install.

Don't be surprised if it cranks over more to start. Mine did but the more miles you put on it, it will eventualy start like it did before. I guess it just needs to bleed the air out of the pipe.

Is there much of a difference between the hard line and the braided line? They both do the same thing. Is one better than the other?

I can't complain about the price I paid for mine though...

I think with the braided line it is recommended to replace every few years, the hard line is probably just watch for rust holes.
