If you have a DP Tuner, you won't need a reburn with the JWVB. Jody and John worked together to develop the products to play nicely with eachother.

Thanks Chase, I guess that makes my decision about what VB to get pretty easy. I just purchased a DP Tuner and I'm going to install it in a couple of weeks when I am home on leave. Nice to know I won't have to send the chip in to have it re-burned.

Like Chase mentioned above(thanks bud), yes, I didn't need a reburn. A little intimidating at first but just following the directions and taking your time, you'll see how easy they are to install, I did one for another member here about two months ago. The transgo kits are a little more involved but taking your time is key to any new mod project. I,m very happy with my shifts, firm, crisp, to the point shifts, no delays between the gear. Just reread your post, take those key out of the ignition when your installing that DP, just a reminder. Enjoy.

That was me, and that's an understatement. He can do so much more with his chip over the X3 tuner, especially with the transmission shifting. To be honest I wouldn't recommend putting DP tunes on the SCT (and neither does Jody really), you're missing out on so much. Just go with his chip and sell the SCT. Combine all that with a John Woods VB and it's awesome. I don't know about the Transgo, so I can't comment. I do know it was super easy to swap in the JWVB and I needed no retuning at all.

Long story, I'll just say since I had bought the X3 from Jody, he took care of me. You can ebay it, or just keep it and use it to data log and check codes.
