ipr / crankshaft sensor
Will an injector pressure regulator cause stalling? No start issues?
Does my truck have a crankshaft sensor, I've read that it does not, but I keep seeing where people mention it as a culprit for stalling and no start issues.

Check out the link miller-feed has in his post. Great info on the cam positioning sensor. As for the IPR, yes it can do what you have suggested. However, it usually acts up when the truck is warm. Will usually idle fine when cold, but idle rough when warmed up. This is caused by oil thinning out when warm and leaking past the o-rings in the IPR. Truck will like to stall at stop lights is a good indicator of this problem. It usually doesn't throw a code when this happens. The truck does usually start right back up though.
