76 bed on 79

Will a bed off a 76 Highboy fit on a 79 F250 4x4? I know the fillers are different but are the bed mounts the same, if not are the easily adapted?

the bed is the same, but I'm not sure if all the body mounting spots are the same.

You'll have to drill new holes in the bed to mount it but other than that it's a direct fit.

Thanks, there is a rust free bed for sale for $300 but it was off a 76. Do the fuel fill hoses hook up OK, I know the 76 bed won't have doors but thats fine with me.
