tire question
can i put 35x12.50x17's on my stock rims and fit them under a stock '06 f250 fx4 super cab? if not, what is the biggest tire i can put on my totally stock truck with stock 17 inch wheels?

I dont think you can fit that tire on a stock rim. They are only 7.5'' wide. I am not sure but I think 315 70 17 is the biggest but i looked at one and it looked to wide so i went with 285 70 17. hope this helps, good luck

315's are 35" actually like 34.8 inches, depending on manufacturer.285's @33". I have seen it done, have done it myself in the past. I think you'd need a leveling kit, and with that narrow rim you'd have to make sure of a good pressure for even wear, and probably rotate them more frequently so you don't wear out the centers .
