Radio is mounted directly under that little storage hole that would be to your right if you are the driver.

Also for what its worth, I have even put a mag mount antenna on the radio at the time I was using the extra boat battery sitting in the floorboard to power the radio and it didn't seem to make any difference with that.

So where did YOU mount your radio at? Or how did you resolve the issue with cord placement?
My radio is in the same location as yours. I run dual whip antennas on the mirrors with a ground running to the underside of the hood. My antenna wires run down between the cowl and fender on top between the door moldings then tucked up under just like yours, along the lower dash rail. Same route on the other side. I had extra wire so I zip tied them. I moved all the bulk of the wire away from the PCM and DP cable per Diane's instructions and its now fine..

I agree with Joe, give it a shot.

Sounds like the OP has a bad ground connection on his gauges. My gauges do the same if the wire is loose.

I had the same issue w my trans. gauge a few months back. Called & they sent me the whole new set up . I installed the new amp. bow first & no luck. Then I installed the new gauge . Also installed a new sending unit probe. These did'nt fix it either. Gauge was still erratic. Then I read somewhere about putting some dielectric grease on the connector at the sending unit. I did this & now all is good. This was about 3 months ago & works great now.Hope this helps. Cost me a few bucks for the tube of grease a Home Depot.

Just for the record, Dipricol's are very nice, but they are made in India. Isspro's are made in Oregon or Washington state, I can't remember which.

Good point Jason, matter of fact, Clay said he only stocks the Isspros and Autometers I believe now because of the service and warranty the company honors, a big hassle with the makers of Diprocol give when trying to get service and replacements. Its a shame, those Diprocols are sharpe gauges. Pretty sure their made in Oregon, Isspros that is.

I have Isspro's and they are flawless and I have a CB radio with a roof mount antenna.
Erratic behaviour, IMO, is always a flaky connection somewhere.

Yep, Isspro is made in Portland, OR, except for there EV series with is made in the same factory as Dipricol, IIRC. The Dipricol are sharp guages, and I haven't seen a whole lot of failures, but for me I didn't like the way the warranty worked for my customers.
