need some turbo advice...i have a buddy with a dodge cummins. h e turned it up, and towed some loads, and not his turbo has gave out on him. he bought a new one, but i am wondering if i had it rebuilt of it was worth fixing. he said he would give it to me, but no longer builds boost, and when she went south it started dumping oil through i the IC
the dumping oil through the I/C i wouldn't be to worried about. that's probably going to be fixed by a rebuild. i would call majestic turbo in Dallas? tx and see if it can be fixed. they are supposed to be very good. Here is a really good question though.. how in the world do you plan on spooling an HX-50?!?!?!?!?!?!?! hahahahahaha. with stage 2's and no tunes an HX-50 won't spool til around 2600 rpms on one of our trucks i don't think and i'm sure that stage 2's and no tunes provides more fuel than stock sticks with tunes. not saying dont get it but get some stage 2's at least so you can spool that pig. haha

Our engines will handle the 50... I've been driving around with one for almost a year now with no tunes except an ICP mod and II's of course. There is a point of lag before it spools... Hard to explain but you really have to have around 7+ pounds to really feel the charger.
The only downfar to running this type of charger is the $$$... but it sounds wicked when it's spooled!
