truck wont start
I have a 78 f150 with a 351 and the f***** thing wont start
. so far i have bought a new starter and a solenoid and batery cables and i cant get it to do anyting at all, any help greatly appreciated

so assuming all those parts are good and that the battery is good I'd say throw a wrench on the crank and make sure it's not jammed up for some odd reason. Also you can try getting some jumper cables and running one directly from the starter to the hot lead on the battery. If that doesn't work then the battery is definitely dead. Lemmie know what you come up with.

Check your brainbox on the right hand side of fender if your looking at motor. I had a 78 that just quit on me one day. I replaced solenoid, starter, battery connections and battery. I ended up pulling the brain box off of a junkyard truck and put it in and it fired right up.
