Have a 99 F-350 S/D 7.3 diesel. during the freez i had the heater plugged in, went to start it and it wont start, but will crank over, any suggestions............
look at your tach and see if it comes up when you are spinning it over. also try to put a charger or a booster on it. i have seen a low voltage concern on a 73 where it would spin over like everythig was ok, but would not start due to batt voltage dropping below 9.5 volts.
sounds like a cam sensor. i think you can get one as cheap as 60 to 80 bucks if you shop around. when the tach does not move, that is a tell tell sign of no signal from cam sensor.
