Thanks, If you don't maintain a certain level of Redneckness in Colorado, they kick ya out of the state.. it is powered by the ever faithful T444e with new head gaskets and 119K original miles though
I did actually post an explanation of that somewhere on this forum....
There is some more pics in my photobucket album Here

standard height 4700 chassis that i shortened, grey crew cab came of a 1981 S1754.... hence the VIN is on the cab so its currently registered as an 81 but everything else is 2000 model. it was a salvation army collection truck that got parked when it started running hot. I put in new batteries, new head gaskets and new alternator, 119K original miles too....14 ft late model military bed wit drop sides and troop seats.
I initially was gonna take the parts from the rolled truck camper and make the sleeper from a Peterbilt 379 into an RV but then scrapped that idea... the reason the Truck camper is on there backwards is that I got it from the DRMO sale at Ft. Carson Army Base and that is the only way it would fit onto the truck for me to get it home.... about 6 miles of semi rural side streets... then I gutted it an filled it with scrap metal I had laying around and took to the scrapyard for recycling.... sold off most of the interior parts I took out of it and scrapped the sleeper....
Now its just waiting for me to do the body work and paint it... Also have a couple of Hyd cylinders and a pump to make a dump bed if I get that motivated

I never really paid any attention to the other posts, and just laughed when I saw the picture, so I made my post in what I thought was a humorous vein, thinking Ken was ribbing you.
Dude, that's really yours! LOL, you need to post that up all over the 'net man! You'll be famous!!

a couple of really cool things about the T444e in that truck is that its super easy to work on cuz the whole hood tilts forward out of the way... also the PCM and all the electronic controls for the engine are mounted to the right side valve cover area.... this would make it real easy to put a PSD swap into just about any vehicle ..... PSD Pinto anyone
