Had the same problem with this damn hard water here in AZ. Found Brasso---the stuff for cleaning brass and other non-ferrous metals---worked GREAT. Just rub on like you would wax and buff off.

I mixed up some vinegar and water to get the water spots off mine but they had only been there for a couple days not sure if it matters how long. Damn sprinklers!

Hey,

I have used some very fine #0000 steel wool. Just rub the water spots with the steel wool and then clean the windows after.

Oh yeah, be sure that there are no rear defroster wires on the window!

Toothpaste
Its mildly abrasive (wont scratch), easy to use and everybody has some... I think.
After waxing your rig take the rag you used to remove the wax and polish the windows with it. Works wonders.....

Hey I just read the post about vinager, man that is one hell of a tip.

Went straight to truck with vinager in hand, NO MORE WATER SPOTS.

I used straight white vinager on a rag.

I owe you one!!!!

Vinegar eh? I'll have to try that.

Bon Ami, chrome polish both work pretty good with a little elbow grease. Both are non abrasive.
