Put on a bigger tbody & port the intake if you want any gains. I did my 97 this way & could feel the difference. I tried a spacer. It wasn't worth the time it took to install. The spacers are good paperweights.

Can you port the intake yourself or is that something a shop needs to do? Ive got a dremel and plenty of time!

Are there any gains in port and polishing the throttle body? I thought when port and polishing was done, it was done to the heads?

The is no gains to port and polishing period. Roughened heads give better results.

I figured that, after a little research myself it seems that it should only be done to clean the carbon deposits. Thanks for the reply.
