I had access to an engine dyno a while back, and did a variety of testing of various things. One of those things included three different brands of throttle body spacers. None of them did anything other than to move the throttle body away from the plenum. There were no gains that we could see.
nothing I have ever heard says that throttle body spacers work. Theoreticly, it give the throttle body more space to atomize the gas vapors but the change would be unfelt. Stay away from the Tornado. It spis incoming air but creates too much turbulence. The turbulence actually slows air, not increases it. It lowers mpg and horspower, Not good at all.

The throttle body doesn't atomize anything; that's the job of the injectors. And theoretically, turbulence helps evaporization of liquid fuel droplets, which helps power and fuel economy. This is more of an issue on carbureted engines. Fuel injectors already do a pretty good job of atomizing the fuel for easier evaporation and combustion. Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying either the spacer or tornado do anything.
