I'm looking for advice on restarting my truck after the turbo has been replaced. It's been sitting for 7 mos. (really short of funds for the turbo) the batteries were disconnected during this time and coolant was drained. I read that I should cycle the key several times to prime the fuel system. Any other suggestions would be appreciated.

There's nothing you have to do other than what you said.
Thanks for the info. I wasn't sure if the re-learning process was necessary. I do a search for the procedure.
It's not necessary, but if you just HAVE to then disconnect the batteries, turn on the lights for 10 minutes AFTER that, then reconnect the batteries. I've swapped the turbo on my 04 several times and there's no relearn required.
I would recommend removing the FICM fuse and cranking the engine until you have base oil pressure on the instrument cluster and about 10 seconds past that to make sure the turbo bearings are sufficiently lubricated.
