Mirrors

I wonder if the mirrors from an '09 will fit the '04-'08. Either the standard mirrors with the turn signals on the backs or the optional extendable tow mirrors.

any mirror from any truck from 2004-2009 will fit

alot of people have already done the swap. it is a direct bolt-on mechanically with zero modification required

now the wiring is another story. but take your time and it will all work just fine

Thats good to know. I was going to install a yellow turn signal light in them. I would be alot cheaper. I'm sure the door wiring is the same with or without the signal.

I got a 04 and installed the tow mirrors from the 07-09 and you had to move two pins and cut a ground. Nothing to hard.

Thanks. I dont want the tow mirrors just the power, heated ones that have the turn signals on both sides and puddle lamps. Its nice to know they will fit. When I get around to actually doing the swap I check back and see what(if any) wiring has to be changed. I have power, heated mirrors now so I imagine the wiring wont be hard.

Ya I was just saying they should fit and you might have to move the number 8 pin to the number 9 spot and the number 9 to the number 8.
