Dang Jim, I thought things were better. Wish we would have looked at it more before you left. We could have pulled in the shop and had a look. Darrins got a nice AC'd shop we could have used.
Jim, when you leave to drive your truck in the morning or whenever, before it gets too hot, stick you hand around back there and feel for leaks. I would start with sticking your hand right over the top of the turbo, that's where mine was leaking from when I didn't get things lined up correctly. All of this is of course with the engine running. You may have already done this though.

They seemed to be for a while Barry. It's cool enough here that no AC is needed

Not a bad idea Jeff thanks

I am Keith I just have to tap it for the valve stem fitting. I haven't done anything with it as of yet. Woke up with a massive migraine Hurts just to look at this screen. Just took my meds for it should be dulling sown soon then I will attempt to check for boost leaks.
Ya'll did remember to put the new wheel back on didn't you? Check to intake boots again, I remember you guys stuggling a little to get them to go in. Might have collaspe one of them.
Problem solved!!! Where the spider mates up to the outlet of the turbo it was off just a hair. As it got hot it must have expanded just enough for me to have these issues. I loosened the boots for the IC tubes and the Intake plenums reset the spider and tigtened everything up again. Took it for a ride and is all set now. I must have tightened up the plenum boots first then the spider. Here are a couple of pics right after I removed the clamp. I noticed that the clamp seemed to be a bit off the way that it sat.
I am going to let it cool down then check everything onece again. I will be replacing all of the boots in the near future.
Thanks for all your help and input. This is why FTE is because of all of you.
Good deal Jim Glad she is fixed. Sorry to hear about the migraine, do you get them often?? The wife did and we found out it was caused by DAIRY products.

Thanks Tom. It was great to meet you this weekend. I get them from time to time. This one was a doozie though. I still feel sick to my stomach from it.

Did you find it by observation alone or with a leak detector?
It would certainly be obvious during a leak test. This I know.
Yup I messed up Robin, my fault and only my fault.
I saw that the clamp was not sitting right and when I removed it it was obvious as to what it was.
I started making a leak detector last night. I was just exhausted I will have to finish it though.
