Dumb question... How do you change the light bulbs for the Ebrake. It does not seem to be enough room behind and not sure how to take the front panel off without breaking something. Any help here?
There are a lot of screws and panels you need to take off on the dash and it will reveal all the lights behind the dash. Only way to do it.
He's right, and if you're going to replace one, you might as well replace them all- that way you don't go to the same amount of trouble a week from now when another one burns out.
Before you do that, wiggle the connector on the emergency brake pedal. My brake light doesn't alway come on when I engage the E brake because there is not a good connection at that connector. With the key on and the E brake on wiggle that connector and see if it lights up.
I will also recommend replacing all the 194 (I believe) bulbs while its off. It will cost about 20 bucks, but is well worth it so you don't have to pull it apart again for another bulb.

Guess I forgot to mention, it's a 1995. Nobody asked so, it must not matter in this forum. Wow, must be a pain the way everyone talks! Does the headlight **** have a release button from behind, like the 60's trucks? When I first got the truck last year, the light worked now and then. I've tried wiggling the harness with no success, but maybe I'll test the switch to see if that's the problem.
Dash lights quit including left headlights on warning. Checked all the fuses, OK.2002, F 250 Super. Anybody know the fix?
Thanks,
Bill
Dash lights and left headlight quit? Replace the light switch. It wasnt a Ford but, I had a Nissan Pickup and same thing. I didnt know what it was but my dads girlfriend had a brother who worked for Nissan. He told me light switch. I replaced it and it was brighter than ever.

Its not so bad. You should have a screwdriver and torx bits at hand. There are torx screws holding the molding and/or dash and there are clips that also lock the stuff in place so youll have to pull some stuff but be careful. Im not too sure what your dash looks like cause I know there are 2 styles. One is easier than the other. I have the light switch to the left of the steering wheel with the wiper switch next to it. There is a button to release the headlight pull switch from the plug/box. You need to get a long (metal) wire or something and stick it up under the dash and press the button (you should be able to see it if you look under there) then pull the switch out.
I hope this helps you. Ill check back to the forum to see if you needed to know anything else. Maybe someone else can elaborate it better also.
And on your wiper switch, if it's a ****- on mine there's just a clip that holds the **** onto the shaft. I ended up needing to bend a hook into the end of a piece of [electric fence] wire and use that to push on the tab but mine was kind of a PITA.

Thanks for adding that. Mine was broken so all I had to do was pull the black **** off the slide. I just siliconed it back on but if I have to take it off again ill probably struggle.
Yeh, I was in a hurry this AM, should have read; headlights on warning chime when key is pulled. I got your reply on another thread and do appricate it. Just found this site this morning and will be visiting in the future. Great site.
