HELP!!!! Does anyone know how to adjust the lights on a 2000 f150. I replaced the lights and now the right side light is higher than the left side. Someone has to know how to do this its very annoying.
If your lights were OK before and now are off, I suggest you remove and reinstall the bulbs. You don't have something properly seated. Did you follow the instructions in the drivers manual? It has been a while since I did one but basically it involved pulling up on a couple of tabs so that the headlight housing would release and come forward; change the bulb and reinstall. If I recall correctly, one side (drivers?) could only be changed this way while the other side would allow for a rear change of the bulb. No tools should have been required and nothing should have been unscrewed. If you did either of these things, you probably messed up your alignment. If you did not do either of these things, then you didn't get the housing reinstalled properly.

not sure if it's the same as a 2001 but....there are two black "tabs" located under the hood behind the headlamp assembly. Can't remember for sure but I believe pulling up on these two tabs is required to unlock the adjustment screws for L/R and U/D. Look straight down from above the headlamp assembly and find the long threaded adjustment shafts located inboard and outboard of the assembly. They pass straight through the black tabs you just pulled up and will have a small hex head. Turn these shafts to adjust the aim.
