Fluctuating gauges?
My gauges have been fluctuating lately , sometimes the oil and temp go to the right of normal and then they go back to showing normal . Could this be because of the voltage on the circuit board going bad ? I have gauges , not idiot lights , the board is clean and I replaced the backing plate and all is great , also voltage gauge does not move at all when I run electric fan and lights . I cant figure it out , please any suggestions .

It's an "ammeter" gauge not a voltmeter. The only way to tell if the gauge is indeed working is to have the key in the off position, close the door and get your face right up against the dash and turn on the headlights. If the needle twitches even the "slightest" amount, the gauge works.
That even the TSB instructions from Ford. The gauge for decades never did much.
As for your other gauges, it could be as little as a ground issue to the ICVR (dash voltage regulator) going out.
