1986 Ford Ranger
Good day all....
I have a Ranger with a 4D55 Turbo engine in it. I think I found the problem with it and now I need to know how to remove it to test. I believe that the magnetic valve is not longer working, the problem is its location. Does anyone out there know the bolt head size of the valve so I can make or modify a tool to remove it without having to tear down the engine? Is it a 22MM or a 24MM??? Anyone? Would love to get her going again to get my winters firewood...

The valve turns off the fuel supply... I found it right behind the injector pump. I had to bend a wrench to get it out. Turns out that it is fine so I think it is my Injector pump. Might as well pull it am drop in a gas pot... This is getting too hard for someone with so little time.
