help
need help quick please!!!!!! i noticed my oil pressure down to low as i drove down the road. truck(99 ford ranger 2.5 l) shut down, need to know did my oil pump fail or was it something more simple. ready to put in new pump and pray didnt mess up motor. by the way this happened suddenly.

I wouldn`t mess with your Ranger just yet and certainly not before getting good info first. It`s not always the oil pump failing or what you might think it is, for help post in the Ranger & B-Series forum: https://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/forum35/
