TS chip gone bad

Anyone got a working chip they aren't using anymore that I could buy cheap or borrow? Dang it, I wanted my chip for my trip to OR. Truck started to quit when I switched between programs, then started to quit on its own, then wouldn't start back up unless I unhooked batteries, left cables off overnight, reseated chip, truck wouldn't fire. Took cables off, removed chip, truck fired right up. Have I damaged my computer? I called the guy who sold it to me, he's supposed to be an authorized dealer, but he hasn't called me back yet.

As long as the connection is clean enough, sounds like your chip died on you. Sorry I can't help any further. Where are you located?

I'm running a TS right now with his tunes, and they rock! Maybe you'll get lucky and he'll be able to reburn it for you...

Here's his site, and his number is lister right there on the front page:

Another vote for Tony. If you're trying to get it to work before a trip coming up, a phone call to Tony and you could probably stop by and see him one afternoon and let him re-program your chip. That's going to be your quickest fix unless the chip itself is bad, but Tony has others he can sell you, it would just cost more than a re-burn.

If the truck starts and drives without the chip, the PCM is most likely fine. You probably just have a connection problem. Who is your chip vendor?
