good luck it took me 3 months to find mine at the pick your part if you can find on ebay great but the shipping of over size box is pricey what side do you need?
first off welcome to FTE.com and the dentside area, and secondly congrats on starting a resto of one of the best and last great Ford trucks, i mean the 80 and up are alright, but the 73-79 Ford trucks where the last of the last real trucks,
also you will find lost of interesting and helpful info on here, never fear to ask, no matter how silly it may seem,
also i think you have the info you need now, so good luck, and keep us all informed via a resto thread, pictures would also be great, i know many of us are interested in restoration projects, if you want to see mine, just click the youtube video link in my signature (signature is the lower part of my post) and that is my project truck, its almost done, but they are never really done are they!
You might also want to look at the stainless steel window shades/vents, I got a pair for on my 77, and they look great, and most people don't even notice they are there, and those who do think they are factory.
Agreed the shades are handy, you can crack the window with no worries about rain, plus they add more bling bling to the truck! and they do look factory to the uninformed,
How are yours? Were they missing? I've got an extra set, I'll send you pictures if you're interested. You get 'em for cost of shipping + cost of a beer.
i tried dennis carpos to but it seems every time you want to order something "its out of stock" with no idea when they will be made something like their outer grill shells that have not being made for years
the chrome piece is good on mine but the conection to the body is rusted away and the body is rusting away about a inch across top. if you can send a picture of your part to bmdickerson828@yahoo.com and a price. And also wheres a good place to find weld in floor panels.
Thanks for all the replys
braden
Oh, I don't have extra metal, just the aluminum trim, sorry. The Floor pans are at LMC. They'll send you a catalog. They have good exploded diagrams too. I've actually used them to help work on the truck and to help me solve the "what part is missing here" puzzle.
