1990 f150

Need someone to let me know what is going on,
My F150 with a 5.0 EFI motor bogs after driving a certain distance. Motor does not stall but has no power and will not pick up. I switch it off and in about 5 mins it runs fine. The truck is a 1990 F150
Thanks.

Clogged fuel filter ignition coil or TFI module over heating would be a short list of examples that could cause what you describe.

Some simple testing should lead you toward the cause without to much trouble, I'd start with a new fuel filter. Especially if you have no idea how long its been on there.

I don't know what is with this duplicate post? maybe a "mod" could make it disappear easy enough? (thank you).
