I have been thinking about getting a "man step" as I am 5'7" and my truck is made for NBA basketball players. Does anyone have any experience or suggestions? I found a couple on JC Whitney and they varied greatly in price. Anyone have one of those?

Are you talking about a step for the bed, or one for getting into the truck? If you want a step to get into the truck, google Carr steps. I've used them and they were inexpensive and held up very well.

If you want to get up onto the tailgate and then into the bed, I put on a "Bedstep" from AMP Research. I'm very happy with it.

Thanks guys, I will check out both of them. I would like to go up onto the tailgate as I hate it when people go over the side of my truck with all kinds of metal crap dragging down it. I put the cover on to prevent that mostly. You know the saying,"they dont have a nickle in it." Got to think ahead of them.
