odometer recalibrator

i have a 3" lift with 35x12.50x18's on my truck need the speedo recalibrated. ford wont do it for me. are there any other was to go with out paying 300 bucks for the recalibrator or are there cheaper ones that will get the job done

Check your local suspension shop. They do this kind of thing on daily basis. Ford doesn't even have the software that would calibrate the speedo for that size tires.

Find a dealership that will reprogram the ABS module for the larger tires. Tell them to use 601 for the value in the programmer. Ford CAN reprogram that truck.

You might want to consider a SuperLift – Tru Speed unit. I've had one installed for a while now with no problems at all. They are adjustable and have 2 memory settings (a switch) for if or when you change tires. They are reasonably easy to install.
