Shift Indicator.....

Went to do the odometer fix (cold solder) and for the life of me I can't figure out how to disconnect the shift indicator from the gauge cluster. I'm sure it's going to be stupid easy just need to be pointed in the right direction. It's the 99 in my sig

There's a thumb wheel gear that you need to back out and a tranny indicator loop that must be removed.

Take the lower dash panel(under the steering wheel off),look under there,and youll see a "string" coming out of an armoured sheath. This string will be hooked around a lever.Loosen the thumbwheel that adjusts it,and unhook the string.During replacing the cluster,feed it down through the wire bundle into the same spot it came from.Secure the cluster,and hook the string back up to the lever. Be sure its in park,and adjust the thumbwheel for correct orientation of the needle.
