You are either not getting power to or you are not getting power from the Ignition switch.
Use your test light to find out. If you do not have a test light get one.

It appears that there is no power getting to the ignition switch, any other thoughts on what it might be? Would a code reader tell me what is wrong? I am mechanically adept in all areas except for electrical stuff, this is new ground for me.

No a code reader will not tell you why power is not getting to the yellow wires (BATT) on the Ignition switch.
I would say your fuse link "P" is open near the starter relay.

It was a fused link after all. I had thought from one of the diagrams I looked at that the "fuse" part was closer to the terminal end of the wires. I went back to have a second look with a beer in hand. I figured I must be missing something and then took out the battery for a closer look and saw the fused links. A trip to the parts store and $1.93 (Canadian) and she is fixed.
Thanks for your help,
Mark
