I could be wrong about this, but I read this as him putting a camper shell on the truck (topper) and outfitting the bed for camping - not that he's going to be putting a camper on the truck... I've seen some of these setups and they look rather sharp if done right... The toppers don't weigh that much by themselves - I could probably move the fiberglass/aluminum "Custom Topper" shell on my truck around by myself - as long as I remember to disconnect the lighting system first lol...

Cheap and easy to do.
Those are called slide-in campers. F150s aren't strong enough to handle them.
