Sliding window

I wish Ford would make a full roll down rear window like Toyota. Believe it or not, this is THE ONE thing that is stopping me from getting a new truck. I don't want a Toyota and I don't want a Crew w/out a full drop rear window. Waiting with fingers crossed.

What difference does it make with a full roll down rear window? The little sliding window is perfectly fine for air flow in my opinion.

Cant say i ever open mine to be honest and having a full size one wouldnt want to make me open it anymore than the 1/3rd size one. But i did see a reason as to why the Toyota one is a bad idea and why no other people do it but i cant remember why it was.

I've a Ranger with a rear slider. Sometimes I have to haul stuff and stuff stuff through that window. I's just not big enough.
Make me a role down rear, Ford.

Well if you get a f150 you wont have to slide stuff through the window because ya truck will be much longer and bigger.

yes and how safe is it to haul something that goes through the rear window, that could come up and hit you in the back of the head? and also block your view

I didn't get it on my truck. If I want air flow I will roll down the windows in the back doors

It's a toss up between the least used item - sliding rear window (have auto climate control) or the adjustable pedals.

don't think anything that runs from tailgate to windshield of a ranger is going to fit in the bed of an F150 or hit me in the back of the head.

like your avitar BTW. is it one of those smart car body kits?

I wish I had the openable rear window in my new F150.

A previous other brand truck, a mid-sized pickup, also had 6.5 bed like my XLT. It had the openable window and it was GREAT for when I had wood etc that was say 10" long. Just opened the window and ran it in there with the rest of in bed. Did not hit near my head, was not dangerous, did not ruin view. It was a great thing. And yes, I don't think I EVER opened the window just for air. LOL

A rear slider would be nice, might have to get an aftermarket one for the 09..

Just traded the 1992 F150 XLT SC w/ 8 foot bed, had a slider used it periodically. My old 85 didn't have A/C, and the slider was almost a necessity.
