Toyota in your mirror?

Just a little fatherly advice. If you see a Toyota in your mirror, put your egos in your pocket and encourage the person to pass you. You don't WANT that vehicle behind you!

Ford, Honda, Hyundai and every other car maker that is not GM (aka Government Motors) better watch out. The Obama and his minions will be using their regulatory authority to hurt car companies competing with GM. I mean how dare they sell cars and trucks when Uncle Sam is also in the game of selling cars and trucks.

Went by the local Ford dealership this morning on the way to get breakfast and they had a sign out that said "Our Pedals Don't Stick". Thought it was at least a little funny. Toyota will get past the current issues, they are good competition.

That is pretty funny!

Your also very accurate, every manufacturer goes through a rough spot once in awhile.

Toyota will get past the current issues, but their false image of "superior quality" will be tarnished for years to come.

I think those people that went straight to the Toyota dealer in the past will be giving other manufacturers a look now, and rightfully so.

Good post.

It's about time "somebody" and I say that openly because it could have been General or Dodge that good have grabbed the ball and ran with it, but luck would have it, it was Ford.

I say good on 'em!

You and I know both know luck had nothing to do with it.

I'd be interested to see the comparison between the American Auto Workers salaries and Toyota's auto worker's salaries, to see how much more our Domestic companies invest in the products they produce than Japanese companies have to invest. I have a feeling it's pretty substantial.
