i was brain storming again aboutsome things to do to my truck one of them beingtranny coolers..i no that the 6.0 coolerwould be the way to go but i cant find any at a resonable price. So i was wondering if you can take a cooler such as this one http://www.summitracing.com/parts/PRM-1014/ ..and insted of just puting one in put 2 of them in.run the "cold" line off the stock cooler to the "hot" side of the add on cooler, thenfrom the cold side on that same cooler to the "hot" side on the other cooler thenback to the tranny line? Can i do this with out having poblems?
Why not just buy the TruCool Max 4739 and plumb it in series with your stocker? Then you have nearly the same cooling capacity as the 6.0 cooler. FWIW, the stacked plate coolers like the 6.0 cooler and your OEM one are more efficient than the tube and fin coolers like the one in your link.
You could get this one for less than $100 shipped to your door. If you are towing it will keep your temps down. I have it and it works great. Get the biggest one they sell.
More is better. Mine used to get to 190ish in the summer running empty, even a little hotter if I'm hammering it. Now I can barely get it over 140 (I have the 26-row 6.0L cooler).
