Ebay, I've also seen them priced well on Amazon. There was also some talk of the users here passing a couple of units around between us as everyone embarks on the removal. Anyone have a rotunda or lisle kit laying around for this guy? Also, I believe Tylus had a post not too long ago with directions on how to make a "home made" kit.

I baught the snap-on one, I've held both, it is identical to the rotunda. they get about $100 for it online however it only works if your porcelein is all out. comes with a M9-1.00 tap, same as the rotunda. Does anybody know if the other commonly used tool uses the same sized tap? (I can't recall the name now but I think it comes from Napa) that one comes with a Pusher section to jam the porcelein down if its still in there.

Hello everyone. I crushed the porsolin and only have the sleeve in #4. The #7 which is hard to get to has both to be removed. I am currently trying to build something, anything. I am up for any sugrstions. Thanks again everybody. I am up a creek.

It just so happens that I found that very same kit for that price at a non franchise name, old timer (no offence) auto store. They seem to be more willing to go over and beyond to help a customer. The porsolein kit did not work at all. I chipped away unti the die would bite in and push the rest of the porsolien down. Thank you everyone that replied.

I had 4 plugs break on my 04 5.4L. Bought the NAPA tool and it worked like a champ. It's a 2 part tool. First part pushes the ceramic down and second part taps/pulls out the stuck/broken ground part.
I would recommend using a shop vac to vacum out the broken pieces of ceramic after using the "pusher" before pulling out the ground part.
Could have bought something different, and maybe a little cheaper, but this was on a Sunday and I had to get to work on Monday...

get the lisle kit i have one and it worked flawlessly on my truck. i had the same fiasco happen to me--4 plugs broke off in the head at only 35k miles. i bought the lisle tool and was very relieved when they all came out just like it said they would
