Well i recently baught a 2000 f250, runs great, i love the truck. It curently has a set if michilens on it which are bran new, and im not going to take them off till they are worn out. I want a more agressive looking tires and i was wondering which tires yall have had luck with, and what the max size u can go without lifting, i curently have 265/75/16
It looks like they are as big as u can go with out rubbing. i wouldnt mind running 285's is that possible without lifitng, and the new goodyear duratracks(i think that is what they are called) are they worth anything. Thank you for your time
I'm running the Duratracs in 285/75-16. They are still too new for a good review, but I'm pleased with them so far. They don't rub, I think you can go up to 295's maybe 305's on a 4x4.
I was running stock 265's on the lariat 16"rim
I upgraded to a 305, no rubbing issues (Nitto Terra Grappler) loved them!
I have since gone up to a 315/70R17 BFG AT KO on a 17x9 ProComp rim
The fit with loads of room in back and front, but do rub at full lock(L-R)
I would say 285-305 on the stock 16" rim is def do-able!!!

IMHO, I believe that the Nitto Terra Grapplers are the best tire I've ever used. I ran 33X18's for a few years. Then, when I lifted my truck, I bumped up to 35's NTG's and they proved to be just as good as the 33's. I got over 50,000 on the 35's. Only draw back is they only come in a D-range in 18X35's. So I had to change tire brands because I tow with my truck and the TNG's flexed to much. I now run 18X35 Mickey Thompson's that are Load Range E. So far so good. With proper tire care they do last. If you plan on Towing over 10,000 lbs, It would be wise to use an E-range tire.
