on my 02 7.3 diesel superduty, the speedo reads rite about 4 mph high, and the overhead trip meter is calibrated for a 29 gallon tank instead of the 19 gallon in it.. is there any way to recalibrate the speedo, and the trip meter to read actual fuel tank size??

Dealer has to correct the speedometer, but for only 4mph error I'm not sure I would bother. Maybe get just a little bigger tire next time you resole it.
Never heard of a 19 gal tank on a SD. It should be 29-30 gal. on a short bed, 38 gal on a long bed. What makes you believe it is only 19 gals?
that was a typo that i missed.
i have a new keyboard, and the letters are very hard to see, so i have been making a lot of mistakes and spell check don't catch them all. the truck is a short bed with a 29 gallon tank.
the console is calibrated for a 39 gallon tank.
i just filled it up, and it is showing 606 miles till empty, with an average mpg of 15.6 mpg
the speedo is no big deal. i gust figured if it was a simple thing to do, i would reset it
