There is also an additive you can put in your tranny to stop what is called "Torque Converter Shutter"
My opinion is that would probably work, just like a reprogrammer would, but without the total reprograming of the computer...
I agree with the statement slippage causing heat which is the cause of many tranny failures, But keep in mind. The mind set of firm shifts and less slippage meens less heat being reasonable, and true. Factor in alluminum parts that crack easy. That is why Ford and all the New car companies tuned them that way. Hard shifts with a heavy load can spell trouble to. Cracked drums, and housings.
I would read the testimonials, and check with the BBB, you can do both online
Parts stores carry it here locally, I think NAPA has it, but if they dont they will try to sell you other additives... I was advised Dont buy the others.
