Battery Connectors - Whatcha think?

I'm thinking about using these QuickCable Compression lugs for new battery cable ends. They seem to be about $4.50 each for 4/0 cable sized connectors.

What do you guys think about these? Watch the video and see what I'm talking about.

Those look pretty cool, I would probably solder them as well but that is just me, I like to solder

That would have made it easy. I just replaced all of mine. You'll have a hard time finding the right size for the passanger side. It's got 3 wires in and one is the size of your thumb.

I'd use their soldered line of connectors.

I'm bookmarking their web site.

Where are you finding them for sale?

Look's like good stuff. I expect I'll be using some of their products. Particularly some of their soldered battery connectors.

I have used the preloaded solder on type for my Dad's Cummins, THEY ARE AWESOME!!!!!!!!! Funny that this thread came up cause I was just talking about these with Ron (Luny1). We purchased them threw our local NAPA. I'm going to purchase those to make up my own battery cables when the time comes, out of the extra welding cable I have lying around. They even have the "T" for the passenger side.

I just did this on my negative side passenger side... but i went to Advance Autos and got their compression "Fleet" connector. It just took a hacksaw and cut the old crap off and stripped it back, twisted it a little bit and for the little wire did the same thing but taped it right on top of the fat cable and bolted them down. Worked perfectly!

Advance Auto Parts: Top Post Battery Terminals by Autocraft - Part AC178/A1500101

Like that but it had a bigger area to connect a cable then i sprayed it with anti-corrode

Here's another place to look for battery terminals.

Those compression connectors would probably be OK for a temp fix but I'd prefer a solder connection for something permanent.
