That is ONE of the ones you want; that one doesn't cover the engine, you need
a separate manual for that.
Another one I'll highly recommend is the Electrical Diagrams manual.
I don't have the Emissions manual, I sometimes wish I did (that stuff isn't
covered in the Engine manual).
I've heard good things about some sort of vacuum system troubleshooting/
diagnosis manual put out by Ford, too, but don't have it.
Shop around... I got the electrical one from some guy in NYC who sold it at a
BIN (But It Now) price of $5, he no longer had the truck and was cleaning out
his garage.
That place I sent you to earlier today also sometimes advertises on eBay; I got
a brand-new, still shrinkwrapped set of two - the primary shop manual + the
engine one - for something like $25.
Search the archives of this forum for "factory shop manual" and see what you
come up with, there are lots o' places out there....
I'm not too familiar with haynes or anything like that.
i've always gone with what I can find online or in the forums haha
Man, those factory books ROCK!!!!!!! The detail that's in those
things is nothing short of astounding. Haynes, Chilton,
AllData, whatever, they're all subsets of the original Ford
manuals.
