Rob,
The light has a fairly long cord coming out of one end with the wires for each function. The cord was long enough that we had to cut it off to length. A friend and I tied them into the wiring harness before the 4 & 7 Pin trailer light plugs.
We soldered them and wrapped with electrical tape and covered with Convoluted Tubing (Harbor Freight) and plastic cable tied them.
Here are 3 photo's of it. The first one shows it from under the truck. The second shows the wire coming out the end of the light and covered with the convoluted tubing. The third shows the wiring covered, bundled, and cable tied back up with the rest of the wiring harness.

Excellent pics Cass! Thank you for taking the time to post those pics. That's a really nice setup and I may have to go that route considering the light bar provides additional backup lights and is a 3rd brake light. I assume that the LED's are replaceable it one fails?

I have seen a bunch of these out on the road. However most of the ones I see have burned out bulbs or sections. Not being able to repair them is a major turnoff to me.
I have too, but I suspect that's due to the fact that they're cheap. Think about it, a good LED truck brake light goes for $20-$20, yet them cheap undertailgate lights are around $40. They're cheap, made in china, water gets into them, and they dont last. One of those "you get what you pay for" type of things. I've seen less and less of those line of fire things, seems the novelty is wearing off, kinda like the lighted grille emblems...
