On the new(er) Super Cabs is there one rear door or do both sides open? Do you hear more door rattle or is there much dust that gets in through the door seals? I can't remember if it was the Super Duty or F150 that I'd heard negative comments about getting a Super Cab as opposed to regular or crew cab. What are your thoughts? I think I'd like a Super Cab as my next truck but not if it rattles and lets in a lot of dust (it'd be used mainly with a truck camper mostly on gravel and dirt roads.
On my 06 both doors open.
Haven't noticed any dust problem.
Yeah it's not as solid as a Reg or CC, but not bad.
The only time the doors rattled bad is when it did the death wobble.
But, the whole truck was rattling and banging and........
Reg or CC probably wouldn't have been much better.
You only hear a rattle if the door is not closed all the way. I had an 05, and now have an 09. No problems with either, unless the rear is not closed proper.
On my 04' both SC doors open. I don't get wind noise or rattles during normal driving. When on a super rough road, bumpy dirt roads and etc the doors do make some noise. Don't let in any dust, water or wind.
No issues with our 08 s cab.... Only negative for me is windows do not roll down just pop open... The F150 s cab windows roll down into door...
I saw that on the F-150s and that would be nice. Something I wish mine would have is a power sliding window on the back glass. Kinda a pain to open close manually all the time.
