Engine code 83
I have an 85 F150 302 FI. I get code 83 in KOEO test. What I've read it says egr solenoid/low pressure fuel relay bad. Only problem is the 85 doesnt have a egr solenoid its vacuum operated and I don't see a second relay for a low pressure fuel pump. Any help appreciated.
BTW did search but two or three letter words don't search ie "83"

Follow the vacuum line from the egr back. You should run into a solenoid that controls the vacuum to the egr. The computer tells the solenoid to open to let vacuum to the egr, and the egr has a sensor on top that tells the computer "yes the egr is opening". If it doesn't get this verification, it will spit a code out.
