351 motor codes????

Ive got a 92 250 and it runs ok for a while and then throws 3 codes up. It will run fine as long as you run it easy but if you give it a little hell it warms up a little. The check engine light wont be on for a while and after it warms up good it will come on. the codes i get are 28) VAT sensor out of self test range, 32) EVP ciruit below minimum voltage of .24 volts, 83) EGR control solenoid failure, high speed electro-drive fan circuit failure, and low speed fuel pump relay circuit open. any suggestions???????

VAT stands for "vane air temperature" which equates to the ACT sensor on these trucks. The other 2 are EGR related so I'd suspect the EVR is malfunctioning.

would the egr malfunctioning be responsible for it getting a little hot when i go and give it a little hell?? Or is thier no relationship?

Anything is possible, best to find and fix your problems, clear the codes and see what difference it makes.

I think i found that problem, my vacuume line going to the egr valve has a crack in it. but it still acts like it runs a little warm but not hot.
